A Home for Two Again

OAKLAND, CA

The Ask: Reclaiming the house, bedrooms, and all, now that the children are grown!

We were honored when an illustrious colleague reached out to us to help them in their personal home. This was a true partnership- we each threw out ideas, and made sketches to illustrate our points. We then put together material and color schemes and suggested furniture.  They wanted to reclaim the old kids’ bedrooms and create new uses for each one. Additionally, the home needed an overall refresh, and we created a lot of storage for their collections of tableware, books, and vintage maps.

ACD | Alicia Cheung Design reimagined this living room with warm tones, stylish furniture, and inviting decor, creating a cozy and sophisticated space perfect for relaxation and entertaining.

“They incorporated the owners’ collection of mid-century furnishings, vintage prints, and antique maps while giving them a fresh, and welcoming abode.”
