Art with a View

The Ask: Build the home around the art collection, and keep it joyful.
Approached by an ongoing client, the prompt for this home was to curate their recently acquired art with some of their favorite pieces. At the time of this project, they were really into pinks and greens and wanted the home to exude joy and happiness. You’ll see a lot of use of color, and art in many surfaces. We commissioned a talented decorative painter to create a “lasso” effect on the bedroom ceiling and walls, tying the whole white and blue color story together, which spoke to the views of the San Francisco Bay and sky.
