SF Pied A Terre

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

The Ask: Creating the “let-your-hair-down” version of the client in this space

When we wrapped the design of this client’s main home, they purchased a pied-à-terre in San Francisco—and invited us to bring it to life. This space offered a chance to explore a different facet of their personality, with a bolder, more playful approach. The furnishings are exuberant yet deeply comfortable. We had the opportunity to revitalize an existing McGuire dining set with fresh upholstery and paired it with a modern light fixture for an effortlessly cool vibe. A spare bedroom became the office, doubles as a guest room with a cloud-like sleeper sofa, and we curated a mix of new art alongside pieces from their existing collection.

ACD | Alicia Cheung Design transformed the dining space with bold upholstery, a modern light fixture, and a reused dining set, creating an effortlessly cool, inviting atmosphere.

“This was an opportunity to show a different part of our client’s style and personality, where we could take more risks.”

ACD | Alicia Cheung Design curated a stylish office with a sleeper sofa, seamlessly blending function and personality while incorporating new and existing art pieces.
